Satchinez Junior High School, located on Daliei Street no. 67, is an inspiring example of modernization in the rural area. The initiative to provide furniture, teaching materials and digital equipment from European funds and the PNRR – through a project launched in July 2023 and completed in December 2024, worth over 17.3 million – has ensured educational and technological infrastructure at European standards for 24 units in Timiș County, including Satchinez.

The school has modern laboratories: two computer booths, tablets, laptops and video projectors, results of the Orange Foundation's Digitaliada program. The idea is to replace paper sheets with interactive platforms, increasing student engagement in math and ICT classes. The Digitaliada laboratory has been accessible since 2017, and students have made a big step towards digital education thanks to the project.

Principal Liliana Călianu states that the provision of tablets and applications has brought “high-performance education at the highest possible technological standards” and gives students independence in learning. Teachers, such as Viorica Jugănaru and Stana Gavrilovici, emphasize that digital tools motivate children and allow differentiated teaching at a pace adapted to each individual. In addition, the school offers a modern environment: new furniture, its own heating plant, gym, library and indoor bathrooms. With 584 students (including the “Second Chance” program), 41 teachers and a solid professional body, the institution promotes social inclusion, respect for diversity and the adaptation of digital pedagogy.

In conclusion, Satchinez Junior High School represents a living model of how European and national funds, through strategic PNRR projects and educational partnerships such as Digitaliada, can radically transform learning conditions in rural areas: investing in sustainable infrastructure, digital transformation and increasing the skills of students and teachers. This is how a quality future, adapted to the 21st century, is built right at the village gate.
